Making Cookies for Daddy

One of my favorite things to do growing up was to make sugar cookies and decorate them, so I decided to share the tradition with Emma and make some Pumpkin Cookies. Emma was great at putting ingredients into the bowl and stirring and she likes rolling out the dough. Then she got her first taste and she lost interest in anything else but eating!

At the Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday was a beautiful day to visit the Pumpkin Patch with some of our friends. We had fun choosing our pumpkins,

Emma also got to ride in the wheelbarrow with the pumpkins.

More Fun Happenings

Emma had more fun over the last two days. Last night, our friend Clay from Virginia came over to have dinner because he was in town on business. Emma made a new friend quickly when she found out he would read one of her favorite books. It was great to see a friendly face!

Today we went to the Children's Museum with Adam and had a great time. Here are a few pictures although it was hard to get her not on the move.

This afternoon Emma brought me her costume for halloween to try on over her clothes. Of course we got a few pictures of that, too

We have had a busy day!

A visit from Nana and G-Pa

Nana and G-pa came to visit us for a week. They wanted to see lots of things. We took them to San Francisco, where it was fleet week and the Blue Angels put on a show. We also visited our favorite amusement park, Gilroy Gardens, and took a tour of the Jelly Belly Factory and a Winery in Sonoma. Here are some pictures of our adventures.

Getting back to Normal

Not a lot has happened since we have been back in California. The weather is still really nice, so Mommy and I have been to the park a lot. We also did some shopping for new fall clothes. Mommy cleaned out my closet and she always gets sad when she has to put away the clothes that don't fit me anymore. Here are some fun pictures over the last week.

Back in Virginia!

Mommy and I got to go back to Virginia last week to visit friends and Nana and G-Pa. We got to stay with my friend, Sydney, and her family. We had lots of fun going shopping, swimming, and to the farm to see the animals. Daddy joined us later in the week and we went down to Virginia Tech for their first game. I got an new hokie bird shirt to wear and got to hang out with my new friend Peter and Mommy while Daddy went to the game. Here are a few pictures of our week. You and click on the pictures to see all the pictures of our week.
