Our Weekend

We had a very busy weekend. Mommy and Daddy started Saturday off very early. They decided to sell all the stuff we were not using in our garage so that Daddy could park his car there. They were excited that they got rid of a lot of stuff and made a little money, too! After my nap, my friend Adam brought his mommy and daddy over for dinner. We had a great time playing in our back yard!

On Sunday, after I got to play at church and a good nap, we went to Great America to play in the water. I liked the shallow end of the pool and the geysers. After the park, we had some good pizza and I tried to get the hang of using a straw!

Goldfish

Mommy went into the other room for a minute and I decided to have a little snack! I think she will remember to take the Goldfish box with her next time.

Uncle Scott and Trisha Visit

The day after we took the plane back from Hawaii, I woke up and my Uncle Scott and Trisha were there to play with me! We had a day of fun playing with my toys and exploring San Fransisco. I like to have visitors come to see me. Here are some pictures from the day.

Aloha from Hawaii

Well, I am on the move again! Daddy and Mommy decided that I had not traveled on the airplane quite enough this year, so we got on a big silver bird once again; this time to a place called Hawaii.

From Hawaii

Mommy and Daddy say that it is a great place to go on vacation and since Daddy had to go for "work", Mommy and I decided to tag along to play! There are a lot of fun things to do here. Every day, Mommy and I went to the beach and I got to play and the sand and jump in the waves.

I also really like our hotel. I now know how to press the elevator button and I like to run into the elevator when it opens. If there are people on the elevator already, they tend to smile when I come bounding in. It is very exciting. Our hotel also has four parakeets that I visited every day. I tried to teach them some of my words (HI and BYE-BYE) and they tried to teach me some of their words (ALOHA). I now like to point out all the birds I see both inside and outside and I like to chase some of them, too.
Daddy took some time off from his conference and we got to do some sightseeing. We went to places like Pearl Harbor,

the Dole Pineapple Plantation

where I got to try something called Pineapple whip,

and the Polynesian Cultural Center where we learned about all the different people that live on islands in the big ocean we are in. We went to this dinner called a Luau.

Mommy and Daddy ate some funny foods (Like and Whole pig that was cooked in the ground),

and they had some of my favorites, too (Hot Dogs and Dinosaur Chicken Nuggets). We also got to see part of a show with lots of music and dancing, but I got a little tired so we went home early.
Daddy also got to try this funny thing called surfing. He was trying to stand on a board in the water and he looked a little like me when I was learning to walk. First he was up,

and then he was down.

By the end of the lesson he was doing a better job at staying up. I got to play on the beach with mommy and we tried to pick Daddy out of the crowd of others on boards, but he was far away and I was enjoying my sand toys.
Overall, we have had a great time. I might not remember this trip when I grow up, but we have lots of pictures and I think Mommy and Daddy had a good time, too.
