Ian's Birthday

We had a great weekend celebrating Ian's first birthday. On Friday morning, Ian got to open a few cards he had received

Then we headed out to meet some friends at a local park and zoo. We had a fun time exploring...So fun that we came home and Ian took a long nap. We headed out to dinner and came back home for a special treat...

On Sunday, we had some friends over for a bar-b-que and cake

America the Beautiful

Emma has been practicing a very special song the last few weeks for her school's international day! She now knows all the words to America the Beautiful. She goes around singing it to whoever will listen. Here is part of their performance:

March Birthdays

March seems to be a popular month for birthdays is Emma's circle of friends. We attended 2 birthdays this month and had a great time at each one!
The first one was Emma's friend Kaylie

Our second party was for Emma's friend Marissa. This was a gymnastics party at a local gym. The kids were run ragged all over the gym for almost 2 hours! Emma had a great time!

What's up with Ian

Ian has had a great month. He is now crawling all over the place

and pulling up on everything.

He also sometimes has the courage to let go!


All this moving around makes for a very tired boy!
