Well, here is the final installment of our adventures with the Scotts this week.

We started the day watching the penguin feeding

Folllowed by a little jumping (and falling) on the wave bed

Some playing in the water

That is a nice boat, Sydney

Then a little ride on a sea horse

"Mommy are you sure this clam shell won't eat us?"

Then there was a little playing in the touch ponds

What you don't see is the little boy dousing Emma with water in a clam shell
We had lunch on Cannery Row

Followed by more playing at the aquarium

Bar-b-que, Ice cream and, red white and blue

We had a great Memorial Day with the Scotts at one of our favorite parks; Gilroy Gardens. There are lots of rides and fun for the kids and there was a special Memorial Day bar-b-que for all of us. We had lots of laughs as the girls took over the park in their red white and blue!

The girls stay hydrated in their little red wagon

Emma drives the fire engine

"Hello People, where is the fire?"

Emma has her first Ice Cream Sandwich

She learned quickly how to "Clean her fingers"

Sydney gives Emma and Dan a ride in the wagon after a great lunch

Then Emma tries to give it a pull

Follow the leader

Peek-a-boo

"Where should we go next?"

"Guacamole anyone?
Stay tuned for our day at the Monterey Aquarium

Visitors!

We are really excited to have our great friends, the Scotts visiting us this week! We are giving them the guided tour of all things California. To see more of our adventures go to The Scotts Blog
After church on Sunday, we decided to share a true California experience; the weekend Farmers Market.

"This way to the good stuff, Sydney"

Posing before going into the market

Emma leads the way down the street

The discriminating tasters try the strawberries

"I think it's going to be a good berry year"

Giggles at lunch
After a good nap, we headed up to San Francisco to check out the Golden Gate bridge and the Redwoods at Muir Woods. The Bridge was already fogged in for night, but we had a great time playing in the woods.

The great stroller race of 2008

Trying for a group shot

Who's that hiding in the tree?
It's Emma!

Even on their daddy's shoulders, the girls on small compared to the imposing redwood trees

"Anyone want a ride?"

Ready to go
On our way home, we stopped at the most crooked street in the US...Lombard Street. We ended our day with milkshakes and cheeseburgers from IN'n'OUT burger after putting the girls to bed. These were eaten so quickly that there is no photo evidence of the act. Stay tune for more adventures tomorrow....
