We had a wonderful Mothers Day yesterday. Not only was it special to have Ian with us this year, but our church has it's Baby Dedication so we got to dedicate Ian to the Lord.
Our Family of four
Waiting in the lobby before church
On stage for the dedication
Praying for our family
Our senior pastor prays over us
Emma checks out the crowd during the prayer
Also, our church had "preferred seating" for 4 moms in the service. I happened to be the mom with the newest baby, so I got to sit on the comfy couch during the service and our worship pastor did a Starbucks run for us. What fun!
Ian and I pose in the "preferred seating" area.
Emma got some playtime after church with her friend Kaylie
It was a wonderful day!

Ian is 3 weeks old
It is hard to believe that Ian has been here 3 weeks already! Here are a few pictures taken during one of his "awake" times. He loves to lie on a blanket and look around.
Almost a smile
Emma giving some love

Ian and Emma.. Week 2
We have been settling into somewhat of a routine here in the McCloskey household of four. Dan went back to work on Thursday, and I have survived 2 days with Emma and Ian on my own. Here are some of the highlights from our week...
Ian discovered himself in the mirror
and he got his first bath
We know when Ian is getting hungry...
He starts eating Daddy's face!
Emma makes a castle using all of her blocks
Chilling out on our 2 week birthday.. went to our 2 week doctor's appointment 8lbs 2oz and a whopping 21 and 3/4 inches
More blanket time, scratched face for the first time
Wide awake
Love from big sister
Hugs to all!

Take Your Child to Work day
We are just a little behind in blogging, but with reinforcements here for the weekend (Grandpa and Grandma!), I have a little time to update on what's been going on. Last Thursday, Google had it's annual Take your child to work Day. With Moonbounces, Sidewalk chalk, crafts, and a bubble man, the event gives kids a real taste of what happens when their parents go to work:) (just kidding, Dan)
Emma practices making bubbles
Making a pinwheel
The finished product
Ian got some quality sleeping time in
The highlight of the morning was the amazing bubbleman who made huge bubbles of all shapes and sizes
and... guess who got put in a bubble???
Emma!
